GIANT INDUSTRIES
Evaluation of the economic feasibility including a 1,200 ton-hour thermal storage system in the design of the mechanical system for a new 61,500 SF office building in Scottsdale, Arizona, 1988. Four different types of phase-change thermal storage systems were analyzed, hourly cooling load profiles were established, and incremental first-cost and energy cost savings were estimated. Utility company incentives were included in the evaluation.
GLENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Technical Assistance Audit for 20 buildings totaling 385,745 SF. The energy audit resulted in grants to implement several major energy conservation measures under the U.S. Department of Energy's Institutional Conservation Program.
